Eyecatcher has clearly not been the easiest to train as he was having only his second outing in four seasons when living up to his name in a Salisbury maiden earlier this month behind Golden Spectrum which is working out well. Contract showed the benefit of his debut when a staying-on third behind the useful Ghannam at Thirsk and is entitled to progress further while the ex-Irish Batool has shown considerable promise in both outings to date. Qazween was badly outpacede in the closing stages of a 5f Brighton maiden last time but would have claims if reproducing a fine Folkestone second to Baldour over this trip in April. Both Merewood and Purring are worth noting in the betting on their debuts.
