In depth

Verdict

Mark Johnston's team continues in cracking form and Robandela may prove best despite an absence. The five-year-old was most progressive last term, winning seven times, and there may be further improvement to come. Bollin Nellie goes well with cut and this consistent sort is only 4lb higher than when landing a competitive Newmarket handicap last backend. Nowell House needs more testing conditions to show his best while Trouble Mountain is still a shade high in the weights. Similar comments apply to Middlethorpe and Inver Gold will find this tougher on his return to turf after a successful spell on the all-weather.
