Borderlescott would have made short work of these in his prime but there have been signs this year that Father Time has caught up with Robin Bastiman's stable star, though he did still manage a fourth to King's Stand Stakes runner-up Bated Breath at Haydock two runs ago. We'll take him on with MAGICAL MACEY, who likes it here and hails from a yard in cracking form. He wouldn't let himself down on very fast ground at York last time. Jamesway has ability but struggles to get his head in front and, like Rio's Girl, has a lot to find at the weights to trouble the other pair.
