There is not a great deal of form to go on in this maiden but the leading lights appear to be Kal Barg, Chivola and Tugalu and the vote is given to Kal Barg. The selection is a well-bred colt from a yard that have got a fair strike-rate with their 2-year-olds this season. The market will offer some assistance but if the vibes are postitive then he should run a big race. Chivola sets the standard of those with racecourse experience and he wasn't given too hard a race when third behind Artic Cape at Ayr last time. If he can improve on that then he should be capable of making the frame. Tugalu was a fair second behind Gross Prophet at Wolverhampton last time and he appears to be going the right way. Cape Vale, Silent Master and Recent Times are other newcomers worth a mention, but we will side with Kal Barg who can make a winning debut.
