Although there are only the seven runners going to post this still looks a tough staying handicap to try and solve, with several holding claims. Topweight Fatehalkair has a good record here - his record reads 114 - and it may be that a return to this track will help bring about the necessary improvement on recent efforts on the level. Jamaican Flight is more than capable of taking a hand in the finish but has not been running up to his best form of late. Yertle seems to be too high in the handicap at present, a a comment that may apply to Alrida as well, although there may be more to come over this trip from the Willie Jarvis-trained three-year-old. The TEAMtalk selection though is Tim Easterby's Timing. The daughter of Alhaarth lost little in defeat behind Clarinch Claymore in the soft at Beverley earlier this month and will be much better suited by the return to a faster surface. Only 5lbs higher than when scoring on her previous start she gets the vote.
