        Verdict

        Speed Freak has been showing pace but has been finding little when challenged and looks exposed while Sheepscar Lad has followed a poor run with a very good one so he's difficult to weigh up at present. CONNACHT GIRL attracted some support on her debut at Sandown and ran a race full of promise after missing the break. She'll have come on a bundle for the experience and looks the one to be on. Royal Cosmic has shown a bit of promise while Gaval is from a very speedy family and any money for David Barron's newcomer should be noted.
