        Verdict

        On The Hoof showed promise on more than one occasion last season but it will be a surprise if a few of these don't prove more progressive this year. The filly Cried For You may prove the pick of Tim Easterby's trio with Adam Carter claiming 5lb but Jack Dexter wasn't beaten far on his debut at Musselburgh, despite running green, and should again beat the four-year-old Pursuit Of Passion. Willie Haggas' team has yet to strike form but his newcomer TA AJABB is by Pastoral Pursuits out of a Fayruz mare so shouldn't be short of speed. He could easily land this if fully wound-up.
