The short list here contains Breaking Shadow, The Osteopath and Sir Orpen, with the selection being Breaking Shadow. The probables: Sir Orpen, who is just two pounds above a winning mark now and has shown that he can act on soft; The Osteopath, who is four pounds below the mark of his sole win, which came last summer, and the soft ground might just help things along; Breaking Shadow, who has been given a clear chance by the grader and he should have no problems with the going. Of the others, Tough Love is weighted to win again but all of his winning form has come on good or quicker; Looks Could Kill has lost his way of late but is very well-weighted based on his best 2006 summer form and he handles juice in the going; Kudbeme got back to winning ways last time but has a six-pounds rise to defy if she is going to score, although she is well-weighted based on 2005 form; Borodinsky ran well from out of the weights last time and you can certainly build the case for him, but General Feeling has a bit to prove on Turf at the moment. All of which returns us to the selection, which is Breaking Shadow.
