The step up in class and longer trip at York last week proved beyond Lilac Lace and she finished a well beaten second. Much better is expected from Tim Easterby's filly in this and she can confirm earlier form with Nemushka. However, WAVERUNNER is just preferred as the latter opened her account at Bath earlier this month with something to spare and can follow-up with further progress likely, Steer By The Stars has something to prove off her current mark and Oddysey has failed to figure since scoring at Redcar in April. Dutch Rose has been way below her best in a couple of starts this year but is good enough to get involved if back to form.
Dutch Rose (IRE) 8-1 (9-10) In touch, weakened well over 1f out, 10th of 11, 13l behind Spinatrix (9-5) at Ripon 6f flls hcp 0-95 (3) gs in May.

Steer By The Stars (IRE) 9-2 (9-7) Led early, tracked leaders, ridden to press winner over 1f out, soon every chance, no extra inside final furlong, 5th of 6, 4l behind Ajraam (9-7) at Thirsk 7f 3yo hcp 0-95 (3) gf.
Nemushka 6-1 (9-6) Slowly away, in rear, ridden 2f out, weakened final furlong, 5th of 6, 9l behind Lilac Lace (9-1) at Carlisle 1m flls hcp 0-85 (4) gf in May.
Lilac Lace (IRE) 8-1 (8-13) Steadied start, held up in 4th, pushed along when slightly short of room approaching final 3f, stayed on to 2nd well over 1f out, never any chance with easy winner, just held on for 2nd, 2nd of 5, 8l behind Grandorio (8-11) at York 1m 2f 3yo hcp 0-100 (2) gf.
