chased leader, switched right over 3f out, soon led, ridden when wandered under pressure entering final furlong, kept on well
led until over 3f out, rallied over 1f out, faded final furlong
chased leaders, effort over 1f out, soon not clear run, ran on, never reached winner
tracked leaders, hampered over 3f out, hung left under pressure over 2f out, soon lost place
PENIAPHOBIA looks likely to start a short-price in the opener. A winner at Pontefract on his debut, he found only one too good in better company than this at York last month and Lee Topliss' allowance negates most of a 5lb penalty. Redcar winner Innocently faded badly behind the selection at York last time and Blockade looks more reliable as she still ran well despite finishing only fifth in the Hilary Needler at Beverley last time. Better is expected from Loma Mor after her well beaten third on Fibesand but Beltor was tailed off on his debut and Naught Betty makes no appeal on breeding.
