This is almost a repeat of a similar event at Ripon last week when KLYNCH had Dick Bos, Fast Shot and Chooseday in the places. Any one of the latter trio could reverse the form with luck in running but the winner appeared to have a bit in hand and is the best drawn of the quartet so can complete a quick double. Ashpan Sam doesn't win often and is 9lb higher than for his last success though he loves soft ground. New Leyf is very well handicapped on Turf and should be winning soon, though a low draw won't help his cause.
