        Verdict

        Hellbender's recent second at Musselburgh is misleading as he was still beaten five lengths. MYSTERIOUS WONDER posted a better effort when third at Catterick in April and he failed to stay a mile at Newcastle last time. Back over today's trip, he gets the nod. Wotalad was placed at Southwell in December but has yet to win and previous course and distance winner No Quarter makes more appeal. Dream Scenario could only manage seventh in this last year but World Record plummeted down the weights last season and could make his presence felt on his debut for a new yard.
