In depth

Verdict

All three newcomers are deserving of a market check in view of their high-quality connections but line up against opposition that has already displayed a degree of promise, notably VEGAS REBEL. The son of Alfred Nobel really got the hang of things on his second start when staying on to good effect behind Jaganory in what looked a useful Salisbury maiden just a week ago and will be the one to beat if turning up here in similar form. Alakhtal and Muradif shaped quite well on their respective debuts at Newmarket and York for classy yards with scope for improvement very much the order of the day for both.
