Verdict
Spin Artist has been kept busy in search of his previous better form and his latest effort was certainly more like it when a close-up fifth to Lily Edge at Lingfield recently. His yard has also experimented with a different trip on each of his last four starts so it's interesting to see him dropped a furlong here despite the aforementioned recent improvement. Arlecchino is a consistent sort who demands respect whilst Benandonner cannot be ruled out despite venturing well into the veteran stage. However, OUTLAW TORN is the choice in the hope that his recent poor effort was a mere blip as this normally reliable performer has plenty going for him otherwise. He was previously in good form on Turf, Kieran Shoemark claims a very useful allowance as an improving apprentice talent and the fact that connections return him to the track just four days after that latest run is taken as a positive.
