Stedfast McStaunch is improving with each outing and can land this maiden from Drax, Bollin Ruth. Brian Meehan's juvenile has come up against decent types Goodricke and Dahteer on his last two outings and there appears to nothing of that calibre in today's line-up. The form in both events is working out nicely and this son of Desert Style can gain a deserved victory. We expect two of the newcomers to pose the most potent threat to the selection. Drax is from the powerful David Loder stable and is superbly bred by Mark Of Esteem out of a Cadeaux Genereux, there are not many yards with a better first time out strike rate so this one has to be respected. Bollin Ruth as you would gather by the name is associated with Sir Neil and Lady Westbrook , who have enjoyed great success over the years with the Easterby's, any market confidence in this one should be heeded. In fact the betting will prove an invaluable guide to this event, but without that knowledge we will plump for Stedfast McStaunch.
