Al Khan is now on his seventh trainer and has done amazingly well to win nine races. He was in excellent form at this time last year on quick ground and should carry his big weight with credit. The former Dermot Weld inmate Tadaany started favourite on his debut for David O'Meara at Pontefract but never got into the action. He can do much better than that, though this can go to TRINITY STAR. He's regarded as a quick ground performer so his close third on soft ground at Pontefract last month, his first start since scoring there in October, was a very commendable effort. Moonlightnavigator ran too badly to be true at Beverley last time and if anywhere near the form that saw him win a Class 2 handicap at Musselburgh last April would be very difficult to beat.
