In depth

Verdict

A high draw is normally an advantage in big fields on the straight course here and Carlisle runner-up Jacob's Pillow has not been lucky in that respect. But Gypsy Major could get involved from stall 11 though, like Newcastle second Cool Strutter, drops back from 7f. Tricky Dicky has been consistent but has pulled out stall one so will probably have to stay on the far side. CRUISE TOTHELIMIT hasn't won for two years but has had a light campaign and showed he retains some ability when third at Catterick. He gets the nod, though Gaelic Wizard goes well here so can't be ignored.
