          In depth

          Verdict

          Mango Chutney is consistent but is getting no respite from the handicapper. Dark Command has been knocking on the door but has been a beaten favourite in three of his last four and has become expensive to follow. FORT JEFFERSON probably has a bit more scope with a third at Beverley suggesting he's strengthened up over the winter. He's only a pound higher here so is preferred to Specialv and Palmerston, though Muroor could be interesting given he wasn't beaten that far in a higher grade last time at Carlisle.
