Verdict

Although the going is predicted to be on the fast side it is unlikely that the course record will be in any danger here and it would not surprising if this develops into a dash for the line near the finish if they dawdle through the first circuit. Therefore it could be set up for Fast And Neat to tear along at his own pace before trying to draw the sting out of his rivals in the closing stages. Little Tobias is 5lb higher than for his recent success Ayr and has a little to prove now, so a bigger danger to the selection could be posed by Altitude Dancer and Delham, who are difficult to split on their recent form. However, Fergal Lynch is a good judge of pace and his booking for Fast And Neat could be the decisive factor here.
