Poet's Magic has placed the last twice and Magical Max won over this trip at Newmarket two runs ago. Ey Up Its The Boss also won his penultimate start while Novak looked to be on the way back when staying on late over 6f at Redcar and has been dropped a pound since. Milbanke may have benefited from a change of scenery while Archduke Ferdinand has won at Musselburgh and Doncaster this year, though in lesser company.
