        Verdict

        This looks a weaker race than the first division. Midnite Runner ran green at Beverley and should be capable of better but Hand Jive weakened quickly on debut at Newmarket and Last Addition failed to build on a fourth at Newcastle when only sixth at Beverley. FIRING SQUAD (NAP) took a long time to find his stride over 6f here last month but the penny was dropping in the closing stages and this appears much less competitive.
