Cashier is given the confident vote in this maiden with Curtain Bluff and Earthling the pair likely to give him the most to do. The selection hails from a yard that has had a great start to the season and he ran well when second behind Paper Talk at Newmarket last time. The step-up to a mile will be in his favour and it will be a surprise if this colt can't lose his maiden tag today. Curtain Bluff made a promising debut but was then beaten a fair way by Great Plains at Goodwood last time. He comes from a stable that merits respect in these type of events but more is required if he is to get competitive. Earthling made a pleasing debut at Wolverhampton but he is another who will have to improve to get close to our selection. As always in these type of events the market should be noted for clues, but Cashier sets a decent benchmark for the rest and is the confident choice.
