In depth

Verdict

A predictably competitive handicap for the money and ANOTHER BATT is still potentially well treated if he arrives in the frame of mind that accompanied his success at Ripon a fortnight ago. What's The Story isn’t a frequent winner though he loves the hustle and bustle of this type of race. Pisanello may be 9lb higher than when he placed in last year’s renewal but he advertised his well being by defying top weight in a handicap at Hamilton last month while Clear Angel kept on well at York having got caught out of his ground in the early stages. Tawafag could be anything while Challet will be prominent from stall three and came back to form at York eight days ago.
