    Verdict

Danzan aims to follow up last year’s success though he’s 7lb higher having won a race here in June on similar going. With that in mind, it could be worth opposing him with MAYWAKE (NAP) as Richard Fahey’s gelding has always coped well with cut in the ground and has made the frame several times this season. Razeyna is respected from the Haggas stable and a previous outing on the surface was fair. Harswell Duke won a valuable event at Doncaster earlier in the season and it appears connections have been waiting for his preferred going while Woven will be partnered by a young apprentice that is riding with plenty of confidence at present.
