slowly into stride, refused to race
always behind, never a factor
towards rear, never dangerous
prominent, outpaced over 3f out, ridden 2f out, ran on final furlong, not reach winner
towards rear, chased along over 3f out, ridden and one pace final 2f
towards rear, never dangerous
held up, headway over 3f out, ridden over 1f out, ran on final furlong, nearest at finish
in touch, ridden 2f out, stayed on same pace final furlong
prominent, chased along to lead over 1f out, headed inside final furlong, no extra close home
towards rear, pushed along over 3f out, some late headway, never near to challenge
prominent, driven along over 2f out, stayed on same pace final furlong
settled in mid-division, headway over 2f out, ran on to lead inside final furlong, kept on
led, ridden over 2f out, headed over 1f out, no extra inside final furlong
never better than mid-division
Night Sight was a little disappointing last time but may be capable of making amends here with Asaleeb, Prenup and Perelandra the others worthy of consideration. The selection finished fifth behind Bramantino at York earlier in the week but that was in an amateur riders¿ race and with Richard Thomas taking over in the plate he looks to have solid claims. Asaleeb won well when defeating Aoninch last time and this progressive filly is entitled to plenty of respect as she is still open to plenty of improvement. Prenup finished well behind Asaleeb in that Salisbury race and although she is weighted to get closer here, she has it all to do to reverse placings with that rival. Perelandra hacked up in a seller at Lingfield last time and has a lot more on her plate here, but the manner of that success would suggest she could be up to the job. This is a fascinating race but Night Sight is on a handy mark and looks the one they have to beat.
