Verdict

Two For Two has been raised 9lb for his defeat of Lord Aeryn at Ripon last Saturday. The latter may well reverse the form on better terms and go close in the process. Dubai Dynamo could only manage fourth behind Two For Two last time but had beaten Wannabe King, No Poppy and the 2010 winner of this, Osteopathic Remedy, over 7f here before that. Fieldgunner Kirkup would prefer a slower surface but Trail Blaze and Jacob Cats will be at home on the ground and were both progressive three-year-olds. Recent Ripon winner St Moritz is preferred to stablemate Rodrigo De Torres but a chance is taken on NORSE BLUES returning to form. He ran well for a long way before fading badly in the final furlong at Newbury on his return but David Barron's charge is expected to see out his challenge all the way to the line on this occasion.
