A very low-grade handicap with most having been running moderately on the all-weather. WILPENA POUND was well supported on his debut for new connections at Lingfield in January but found 1m2f too short and this should be more to his liking. Philos has attempted to make all over this trip at Wolverhampton the last twice but folded tamely when headed. Edwina Sheeran had been racing over a mile before stepping up to this trip at Southwell and doing a bit better but Wadacre Inca has been beaten a long way in maidens and makes her handicap debut. Queenmambo hasn't shown much but takes a big step-up in trip and her pedigree suggests she should be suited.
