      Verdict

      Volition has the best form of those with race experience but she hasn’t yet threatened to get her head in front and Euro Mac’s second at Ripon last time was nothing to get excited about. It could pay to concentrate on the two well-bred newcomers in what is a weak-looking maiden. Dubawi filly Bybrook looks a lively contender for a stable that’s going particularly well at the moment but she may not be ideally suited by this trip so preference is for John Gosden’s PERFECTLY SPIRITED, who has plenty of stamina in her pedigree.
