      Verdict

      A low-key start to proceedings which looks a confidence-booster for a number of the small field. ROCK OF LEON is only a pound higher than when winning on soft going at Lingfield last November so gets a tentative vote ahead of Seeyouallincoppers, who is not badly treated on the pick of his Irish form. Holy Cross makes his handicap debut in first-time cheekpieces but has not been progressing in maiden races. Con Forza is 6lb out of the handicap and Gentleman Moore may not have the pace for this.
