Verdict

Osteopathic Remedy can count this contest in 2011 among his three wins over track and trip and the veteran's latest effort at Ayr points to another bold bid. But TRAIL BLAZE may have too much for him today as Kevin Ryan's charge drops down in class after a fine effort at Ascot last Saturday. The latter also makes more appeal than a couple of recent winners in Snow Bay and Top Notch Tonto, although the last-named is open to further progress and should get involved. Fieldgunner Kirkup will also be thereabouts if the ground cuts up and the same comment applies to Ocean Tempest but Al Muheer still looks a bigger threat on his recent second at York.
