Verdict

David Barron has a trio of entries with the lightly-raced and progressive Art Obsession looking a better bet than the pair at the head of the weights though Twin Appeal will love the conditions and apprentice Rob Hornby keeps the ride. Signore Piccolo takes a step-up in class on a 5lb higher mark after his Catterick victory and is also tackling this longer trip for the first time. Johnny Cavagin is only 1lb higher than his victory at Doncaster in March while Evanescent disappointed at Ayr last time. The Godolphin entry HIGHEST LEVEL has only had four runs and reappeared with a maiden success at Kempton. He found a mile just stretching his stamina at Doncaster last time and back over this trip is given the nod.
