Verdict
Course and distance winner Richter Scale was due to run in a nursery here yesterday so the result should be monitored. Astley Hall made a successful start on fast going at Redcar and produced another fine run when just touched off in similar conditions at York when the favourite Ravenhoe was behind. If he handles the easier ground he'll get into the action but ALIZOOM has no problems with the ground and is handed the vote. Roger Varian's grey has improved with every run and made all for a very convincing victory on ground with plenty of give at Windsor. Easy Beverley winner Sandra's Secret looks best of the remainder.
