A modest finale can go to Monte Major, whose all weather form looks better than the efforts so far posted by Shrink, and the Docksider gelding may be more suited to racing on this surface than the majority of his rivals. Out of the rest: Mr Wolf has plenty to do at the weights on his return to six furlongs and he will do very well to follow up Monday's win at Newcastle on these unfavourable terms. While Tizzy's Law is respected but is another that has to conclusively prove this extra furlong is needed at present and is passed over today. As is Treasure Cay, whose reappearance effort raised more questions than it answered and he is best watched until showing more positive signs. Therefore, this appears to be there for the taking for Monte Major, whose recent form is the best on offer and he has no queries about his ability to see out the distance in this company.
