ALLEZ VIC travelled strongly throughout at Chepstow on Saturday but couldn't get past the determined Cogry after jumping the last. The handicapper is likely to raise him a few pounds for that so it's no surprise that Evan Williams is taking the risk of running him again quickly and he could outclass these. Valid Point hasn't run since April but reappears on a potentially lenient mark and could be a fly in the ointment if fully wound up while the booking of the champ for the returning Pure Poteen catches the eye. The lightly-raced Tsar Alexandre and Alberobello look the types to take to fences and are preferred to Knockalongi and Lumpys Gold of the remainder.
