In depth

Verdict

Pointed And Sharp has got his act together over fences and bids for a hat-trick raised 5lb after scoring by a neck at Fontwell. Malangen is usually in the mix and went close again at Worcester but WAY OUT WEST (NAP) makes most appeal. The latter returned a wide-margin winner at Fontwell a week ago and a 7lb penalty may not be enough to anchor Robert Walford’s charge in this. The remainder debut over fences with Mr Dorrell Sage preferred to Mead Vale on hurdling form.
