In depth

Verdict

BATHSHEBA BAY will know more today having debuted over hurdles at Wincanton earlier in the month on his first outing for Paul Nicholls’ yard. He never threatened in third but additional headgear should help bring further progress and this won’t take much winning. Scardura has switched yards since well beaten at Galway on his hurdling bow and Sheeza Legend returns to action having undergone wind surgery since last in action in April. Dusky Hercules and Aria Rose can only improve and Taurean Dancer may prove best of those arriving from the Flat.
