A low grade affair with a wide range of jockeyship on view but Martin Pipe appears to have a strong hand as the Pond House handler is doubly represented. Admittedly, L'Etang Bleu has been below form of late but showed respectable form last season and looks well treated if back to his best. However, marginal TEAMtalk preference is for Better Moment who goes well on a fast surface having picked up a seller and a novice event during the summer and may have further improvement to come over this longer trip. Former Irish performer, Dual Star, has been in good form over fences of late winning twice at Newton Abbot earlier in the season but has stamina doubts to answer so the consistent Job Rage and the well handicapped Field Master could prove a bigger danger to the selection in a tricky finale.
