Owlesbury Dream has to give weight away all round but she is a promising hurdler and she gets the nod ahead of Taralina and Takotna. The selection represents a stable who are in top form and comes here on the back of a comfortable success at Huntingdon. That was her first start over timber and the way she won, and the decent bumpers she ran in last year, suggests that further improvement this season is certainly possible, and indeed probable. Amigayle shaped with plenty of promise behind Calusa Caldera at Huntingdon and she looks sure to improve for the experience, whilst Pia Jane and Takotna should both improve for recent runs. Taralina was well-fancied when she was last seen but now she encounters hurdles she looks sure to run well, whilst Miss Midnight broke the duck last time out and whilst it may be unrealistic to suggest that she will follow up, she could run into a place. Thebelloftheball should come on for her recent debut over timber, however it is Owlesbury Dream who is taken to score.
