Derry City, Vodka Brook and Divali Princess have clear claims but a chance is taken with One Scoop. Derry City was sent off as favourite at Ludlow and is likely to be vying for position at the head of the market again but the bare form needs to be improved upon and he has softer conditions to contend with. Vodka Brook showed stacks of promise to chase home subsequent Listed winner Voice Of Reason but confidence in his chances is tempered by the fact that those behind him have done little for the form. Divali Princess was staying on well at Warwick and will appreciate this longer trip but is another that has to prove her effectiveness with cut in the ground. Their chances are respected but One Scoop could go well at a more rewarding price. The selection represents an in-form yard that does well in this sphere and the booking of Richard Johnson is a plus. He was ultimately well held on debut but attracted support in the betting and is bred to appreciate this ground better than the fast surface he encountered that day. The longer trip should also suit and One Scoop may be able to serve it up to his rivals today.
