    Verdict

Only three runners go to post for this handicap hurdle and this should be a straightforward task for Quick, with Roman Court and Lancashire Lass left to fight it out for second place. Quick is in great heart at present and is chasing a hat-trick of straight wins. This gelding won well when defeating Fabrezan last time, and with an abundance of stamina, he will appreciate this step up in trip. Lancashire Lass looks the main danger as she would have probably won last time at Ludlow had she not unseated her rider at the penultimate flight of hurdles. She will again run her race but will find it difficult to gain the upper hand over Quick. Roman Court is currently on a handy mark and could go well, but might not appreciate this step up in trip, although he looks one that might be worth following in the future. This is not a bad contest for a three-runner race, but Quick is in great form, has the assistance of A P McCoy and looks like the one to beat.
