Verdict

Blue Savanna gets the vote here with Goodenough Star and Sigwells Club Boy the others for the shortlist in a desperate race. The selection has shown a fair level of form and is our narrow choice here as he should have learnt a great deal from his hurdling bow when he was a distant fifth behind Lough Berg at Newbury earlier this month. He looks the type who is capable of picking up a Seller, and with Timmy Murphy in the plate should go well. Sigwells Club Boy was a well beaten fifth behind Trouble at Bay at Hereford last week but is another that has to be considered in such a weak race. Hurdling debutant Goodenough Star will not have to be anything out of the ordinary to win this and as he has shown a fair level of form on the flat, he might be worth taking a chance on if he is supported in the market. The rest look moderate, but that will not necessarily prevent them from taking a hand in the finish in this weak affair, but we are happy to side with Blue Savanna.
