Verdict

Ambion Hill has disappointed either side of placing at Chepstow while Fresno Emery finished third at Plumpton only to run poorly over these hurdles last time, though today’s softer going will suit better. Voodoo Doll is dropped in trip in the hope of a return to form but another chance goes to FAIR KATE. Not at her best when only sixth at Kempton last month, Tom Lacey’s mare is back on soft going today and re-united with winning partner Richard Johnson having won at Newbury on her penultimate start.
