Two Tears has been mopping up in moderate company recently, including two wins at this track. He steps up in class here and has again risen in the weights, but still looks capable of putting up a bold show. Saint Romble is the other horse in the field who won last time out, over two miles at Ascot. Although he was left clear when his only rival fell at the last that day, he probably would have won anyway and on that form he may just be preferred. However, the selection here goes to Opal'lou on her handicap debut. She should come on for her reappearance at Exeter, deserves to get her head in front and would appear to have been very fairly treated by the handicapper. Stopwatch is another who has been running well of late and is possibly one for forecast combinations.
