Blaise Wood, Biscar Two and Frambo are three against the field in a competitive opener and the tentative vote goes to Biscar Two. The selection was a good fourth on his debut in a fair race behind Salut Saint Cloud, he is sure to have learnt from the experience and under conditions that suit he will be hard to beat. Blaise Wood rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Icarus Dream. He hails from there same yard as Salut Saint Cloud so they should no where they stand as regards the selection. However the selection has more scope for improvement. Frambo is another worthy of respect he won well last time out when defeating Mabel Riley. However that was in a seller and this looks tougher so he is passed over on this occasion. Martin Pipe sets a poser by saddling three runners and of the three Wood Lord looks best as he is dropping in grade and will be suited by the return to this trip having not stayed a longer trip last time out. Of the remainder Soleil d¿Hiver has place claims but does not appear to see out the trip and for the winner we return to Biscar Two.
