A decent opener. Old Marsh has been in cracking form throughout the summer and is the one they have to beat. Venetia Williams' charge has shown his form on better ground and may just be worth opposing here. Pepe Galvez is given as the TEAMtalk pick. Lavinia Taylor's gelding went into many books after a second to Orangerie at Cheltenham. A winner of a maiden at this track in November, he should be capable of further improvement. Balladeer was a stayer on the flat for John Hills and is obviously one to watch in the market. Toulouse was third in a decent Huntingdon bumper and should improve for the run. Whaleef (formerly a middle-distance performer with Ed Dunlop) is of some interest but Paul Webber's team are not in great form at the moment.
