In depth

Verdict

Dual point-to-point winner In The Hold won over fences at Catterick last month and can race off a similar mark back over timber while Georgina Joy went close over track and trip last time when ahead of both River Dun and Deckers Delight. Fearsome Fred had a tough race when caught close home at Towcester recently and Classico Dais failed to cope upped in class last time but had been thereabouts in this grade before that. MINELLA GATHERING struggled over a longer trip last time but had been in good form in better company than this earlier including a win at Fakenham and Richard Johnson’s presence further boosts confidence in his chances.
