In depth

Verdict

There were nine months between Lilly Pedlar’s two runs in bumpers and she’s been absent since January but she has shown ability. Duc De Bourbon’s jumping was much better here two weeks ago but he may need further. A good run from Heart Of A Lion in the first division would be a pointer to the chances of his Huntingdon conqueror Getaway Luv while Hereford winner Across The Line ran well under a penalty at Uttoxeter. Druim Samhraidh was first past the post in a Ballinrobe bumper last year and Gyllen was a Group 2 and Listed winner on the Flat in France. BOOTHILL beat the useful Bothwell Bridge and Valleres in a Kempton bumper earlier this year and could be a smart prospect if taking to hurdles.
