In depth

Verdict

Ede'iff ran out an impressive winner last time and can follow up today at the expense of Adelphi Theatre and Tom Costalot. Bill Turner's nine-year-old had been steadily improving throughout the season and gained a deserved success when comfortably beating Nayodabayo at Ludlow. There may be more improvement to come and she may defy the handicapper. Adelphi Theatre is also going the right way judged on his recent third behind Cassia Heights at Leicester and a place could be in the offing. Meanwhile Tom Costalot was third in a better race than this last time and gets in here on a very handy weight. Be My Destiny would have claims if back to his best, but the safest option here appears to be Ede'iff and this one gets our vote.
