Tous Chez came up against a decent type at Wetherby recently and can gain an overdue success this afternoon, Etched In Stone and Moritz may provide most danger. Sue Smith's seven-year-old had shown plenty of promise in bumpers before chasing home Percussionist on his hurdles debut. He only went down by three lengths on that occasion and can go one better this today. Etched In Stone landed a Perth bumper before making a promising hurdles debut at Huntingdon. He will have learnt a lot from that experience and he could be the main threat to the selection. Moritz was quite well supported on his racecourse debut and it would be no surprise to see a much better performance this afternoon. Springvic and Trafalgar Man have also shown enough to be worthy of respect, but Tous Chez appears to have the strongest form on show and gets the verdict.
