MON CHEVALIER can gain a welcome change of fortune in this company; Josear has some solid (if unspectacular) form to his name and can also be expected to be on the premises, while Local Present can at least be fancied to uphold the recent Plumpton form with Rince Donn on these terms. Local Present has shown signs of temperament, though. So wouldn't be one to trust implicitly. Josear has been out of sorts of late but did start to show interest when staying on late in the day last time out. Still, he can be a player at this level if he steps things up a notch this afternoon. However, Mon Chevalier appears to be a more straightforward character and, as such gets the nod as the one most likely to keep trying right up to the line.
